Last weekend I had the honor of taking photos at my dear friend's house for her cousin's beautiful baby shower.  They put together a fantastic spread and everything was delicious.  I am a true believer in the idea that the details are what makes the party most unique.  These ladies did an amazing job!   And the beautiful poem to end the day...

My son has been having a great time lately with the chairs. He has been climbing on and off the kids' wooden chair most of the morning and finally got wiped out enough to take a nice nap. I had to grab the camera and take a quick picture of him, in all of his excitement and pride for climbing on for the 100th time. ;-)

I have finally figured out how to create a really cool slideshow instead of a blog header.  I threw in a couple of recent photos just to see how it would look and it turned out pretty nice!  When I'm not with the kids, I have been educating myself on my camera and how to get great photos...  I have a few photo shoots lined up in the next few months so I am really looking forward to those.

Last weekend we spent some time with my Goddaughter...she is so adorable!  I love how the kids just lined up along the windowsill to peek outside- it just so happens that they are all in order.  Not the best quality picture since it got blown out by the window light....but I am so glad I captured that moment.  Too cute.

I just figured out how to save my Shutterfly photos to iPhoto. Now I can post lots of old pics. Here is one of my favorites of my oldest daughter, Aria. She'll be 5 this week. I can't believe how much she resembles my little boy.

This week's theme:ContemplativeAlthough this doesn't seem to fit "contemplative" in the traditional sense, I just love the feeling this photo evokes- tons of laughter and fun.
